We had a great experience at the boutique backpackers in town. the bed was comfy, the staff was responsive and helpful. the environment was clean and safe, and the location was perfect. We loved being able to park up, set up our room, and then walk down the road for lunch and other activities. the hostel had excellent WiFi, personal lockers in the dorms, and lockers for food items in the kitchen. It's one of the few hostels in New Zealand that provides these amenities. a refreshing and welcoming experience. Cons: Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like. 😊.

Our stay at Arthouse Accommodation was absolutely fantastic! The hostel is beautifully designed with spacious communal areas and a well-equipped kitchen. We stayed in a double room which was incredibly comfortable and quiet, allowing us to get a peaceful night's sleep. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, with fresh hand towels provided daily. We also appreciated the added touches like plenty of pantry storage for long-term stays. Additionally, the location was convenient, just a short walk from the bus stop and with nearby restaurants and cafes for dining options. The security measures at the hostel were commendable as well. I highly recommend this hostel for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful amenities.

stayed in tauranga before, but this time arthouse backpackers blew me away. comfy beds, awesome decor, and super clean facilities. loved being able to park up and explore town on foot.

Toilets could use improvement.

I recently stayed at the Art house and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby. The bedrooms were comfortable and included a large locker for personal belongings. The kitchen was well-stocked and there was a dining area right next to it. I was impressed by the individual unisex toilet and shower cubicles, which meant there was never a queue. The relaxing area with beanbags and board games was a nice touch. I had a great stay and would definitely choose to stay here again.

The cleanliness was impressive, with spotless bathrooms and showers, and I never had to wait in line. The kitchen was a good size and there was plenty of seating available. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the ocean, and there was a convenient parking garage nearby for those with cars. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. a fantastic hostel that I would definitely return to.

The showers were the cleanest I've encountered in all of New Zealand. The kitchen was well-equipped and spacious, making it easy to cook meals. The staff were friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to assist guests. The location was perfect, with easy access to the bus and town center. it was the best hostel I stayed in during my trip.

As young travelers, we absolutely loved the database clean and comfortable beds in our double room. the public area was lively with games and fun, and the staff were lovely. We were pleasantly surprised that we could walk to the main shops in Tauranga from the accommodation. a great place to stay!

I stayed at the ArtHouse Accommodation for a week while exploring the area. The kitchen had ample storage space and plenty of cooking facilities. I never had to wait for a shower or a toilet, as there were many available. The beds were comfortable and had enough room for my luggage. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The hostel's location near the bus stop was incredibly convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hostel in Tauranga and it was my favorite out of the three I tried. The kitchen had plenty of space for cooking and storing my things. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Plus, the location was convenient, close to the bus stop.

The breakfast option could be improved, maybe by adding more variety or healthier choices.

The room had comfortable beds and cozy blankets, perfect for a romantic escape. The price for the entire stay was very reasonable, allowing us to enjoy our getaway without breaking the bank. Additionally, the charging outlets next to each bed were very convenient for keeping our devices powered up.

Some guests did not clean up after themselves in the shared toilets and showers, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been great to see a recycling bin for plastic and cardboard, as being environmentally conscious is important to us.

Convenient location near CBD. Walking distance to bus stops, library, container mall, sea, parks. Easy parking outside. Friendly and helpful staff. Queen room was cute with a comfortable bed. No-alcohol policy meant quiet nights.
